About 3i
The 3i Africa Summit, launched in 2024, has quickly emerged as a premier platform for catalyzing Africa’s FinTech ecosystem and deepening public-private dialogue around innovation, investment, and impact.
Its maiden edition convened over 8,000 participants, including 13 central bank governors from 10 African countries, 3 heads of state, and leaders from across the financial and digital sectors.
Building on the success of the inaugural 3i Africa Summit in 2024, the 2025 Policy Forum adopts a more targeted, high-level format to deepen dialogue at the intersection of policy, regulation, and digital finance. With a guest list limited to 150 influential stakeholders—including central bank governors, FinTech leaders, investors, and global partners—the Forum is designed to shape the future of cross-border financial innovation, SME trade enablement between the corridors of Africa and Asia, and digital asset governance across Africa.
This year’s framework shifts from broad sectoral engagement to laser-focused, high-impact themes critical to Africa’s digital economic integration. Each pillar speaks to the urgency of aligning investment, infrastructure, and policy for scalable, inclusive growth.
