
Deputy Director in the African Department of the IMF
Vitaliy Kramarenko
Vitaliy Kramarenko is a Deputy Director in the African Department of the International Monetary Fund, where his responsibilities include overview of member countries and institutions in central and Southern Africa. Previously, Mr. Kramarenko held various senior positions, including Division Chief in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department. He was also the Director of IMF's Regional Technical Assistance Center for Southern Africa (AFRITAC-South) and the Africa Training Institute in Mauritius. He holds a doctorate degree in International Economics from Grenoble University in France. He joined the IMF in 1995 and has since worked on countries in Africa, Europe, and Middle East and Central Asia. He is a national of Ukraine.
